Ronald Weasley, frequently called Ron, is a pureblooded wizard, the sixth son of Arthur and Molly Weasley and the youngest brother of Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred, George, and an older brother to Ginny.

He started to study in the Hogwarts School of Magic and Wizardry in the same year as Harry Potter and was placed in the Gryffindor House. He quickly made friends with Harry and later with Hermione. Together they made the Golden Trio, facing many challenges during his adolescence, from stopping that the philosopher's stone to fall into Voldemort's hands to saving Sirius Black from Azkaban Dementors. Other notable feats were being accepted as a Keeper for the Gryffindor's Quidditch tem, as well as becoming a Gryffindor Prefect.
